Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that unexpected situations may arise, requiring you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To ensure smooth operations and fair service to all clients, please review our cancellation policy below:

1. Advance Notice Required: If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify us at least three (3) hours in advance of your scheduled time.

2. Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 3 hours' notice will result in a forfeited deposit or a cancellation fee of $75.
​
3. Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, please reach out to us as soon as possible via email (inkwellnotaryllc@gmail.com) or call/text (302) 332-7167 to discuss availability.

4. No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in a $75 no-show fee.

5. Repeated Cancellations: We reserve the right to decline services to individuals who frequently cancel or reschedule without sufficient notice.

6. Real Estate Closings: If a closing is canceled after documents have been notarized, the full agreed-upon closing cost remains due and must be paid by the responsible party.
Refund
Eligibility
At Inkwell Notary LLC, we strive to provide professional and reliable notary services. Due to the nature of our work, all completed notarizations and notarial acts are non-refundable once executed. However, refunds may be granted for prepaid services that have not yet been rendered under the following circumstances:

Appointment Cancellation: If you cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours’ notice, any prepaid amount—excluding the non-refundable deposit—will be eligible for a refund.

Service Unavailability: In the rare event that we are unable to fulfill your notary service due to unforeseen circumstances or an issue on our end, you will receive a full refund, including the non-refundable deposit.
